Tagging in BB Waitlist Students is a good idea.

The idea to allow waitlist students in BB so in case the student is able to get in then students will not miss any class materials ...

I've been doing that for years too, Haakon

I understand the intent, but there could be 20 students on the waitlist and they are not ALL going to get in no matter what. So it causes much more confusions adding them all in Blackboard.

After census date, if the waitlisted students added in BB have not registered or were not permitted to actually register students, the Instructor drops the student from BB access

I add students to Blackboard when they are approved but before Peoplesoft updates and populates the Blackboard roster.

But that could also be a lot of students that the instructor would have to drop with no easy way of identifying them. If an instructor accidentally drops a student that is on the roster because he/she makes a mistake doing this, then all of that work is lost.

I agree that the survey is a great idea. The integrity of assessment seems to be a significant issue.

If the stay at home is lifted except those over 65 and with medical issues, would we still open the campus?

we can provide plexiglass separation in the lab and for the counselors?

can we leave cleaning supply in the classroom so the seats and the room can be cleaned after themselves?

Plexiglass dividers in service offices and additional cleaning supplies located in academic spaces will have to be a key part of any eventual re-population plan.

IT here has been incredible help - I teach Orthopedic evaluations, this is hands on teaching - can't do. So I am moving to teaching telemedicine. Make the best of an interesting situation
