The use of "day" in the CBA means calendar day.

I would like to propose an amendment to further clarify our policy. I propose adding the following language right after “the SOTE will be administered online.” I propose “the SOTE will be administered online, only on a date of the instructor’s choosing. Only SOTEs submitted on that date shall be included in the instructor’s WPAF.”

I have a question for, I think, the VP of Student Affairs. On Monday we received a frantic question from a student who had been, earlier in the semester, been told emphatically that exams could not be made up at a later date. (He had an exam on Wednesday, lived on campus, and was worried that his internet service might be down.) We told him to speak directly to the professor, but wondered if there is any more formal process available to students.

The best person to contact would be the department chair, I think.
