Should it be “filed” rather than just “written?” if it were expressed in an email it would be written.

From the CBA: 27.6 A copy of the application shall be sent to the faculty unit employee’s department. The department shall provide a statement to the appropriate administrator regarding the possible effect on the curriculum and the operation of the department should the employee be granted a sabbatical.

Thanks Sam - I completely understand that and I appreciate the yearlong transition given the additional cost that would entail. Again, I just wanted to understand what we're being asked to approve and whether the decision to fully adopt would be made now or during the next academic year.

Senate would be asked to approve the adoption of Canvas fully in 2022 as long as the transition year goes as planned.
